Inflation in Serbia in April 2019 at 0.7%, y-o-y inflation at 3.1%
In April 2019, in relation to December 2018, consumer prices increased by 2.3% on average.
Observed by main groups according to the destination of consumption in April 2019 in relation to the previous month, increase of prices was noted in the groups Clothing and footwear (1.8%), Food and non-alcoholic beverages (1.3%), Communication (1.0%), Transport (0.8%),
Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house (0.4%), Health (0.2%), and in the groups Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, Recreation and culture and Education (by 0.1% each).
Decrease of prices was noted in the group Restaurants and hotels (-0.1%).
Prices of other goods and services mostly remained unchanged.
