Popovic expects more Russian IT, digitization and robotics companies to come
After a meeting with Konstantin Kosachev, the chairman of the Russian Federation Council Foreign Affairs Committee, and Valery Ryazansky, the chairman of the Russian Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, Popovic emphasized at the Government of Serbia that that the cooperation of Serbia and Russia in the fields of IT, innovations and new technologies had made visible progress.
– I expect many new Russian companies from the fields of IT, digitization and robotics to open their development centers in Serbia this year – Popovic told the press.
He added that the cooperation with the Russian agencies Rosatom and Roskosmos “is developing in the right direction”.
Popovic said that he had also discussed other issues important for the cooperation of the two countries.
– Russia's strong position of supporting Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity has been confirmed – Popovic said.
