Sale of Budimka scheduled for June 11, 2019 – Initial price around EUR 4.5 million

After years of stagnation, the Pozega-based Budimka will soon enter a new era with a new owner.

The sale of this company, whose bankruptcy was declared in late 2017, has been scheduled for June 11, and the initial price will be around EUR 4.5 million. Considering the names cited as potential purchasers, but also the profit that the brand and the potentials of Budimka promise, the sale price is expected to differ drastically from the initial price.

– I will send the sale notification to everybody interested in Budimka, and there are 24 of them – Djordje Zecevic, the trustee of the bankruptcy supervisor at the company, says for Blic.

Without wanting to disclose the exact names, Zecevic says that the companies come from Serbia, Europe and Asia.

Blic adds that Petar Matijevic has long been cited as one of the potential purchasers. Two companies from China are also interested in Budimka, as are the UAE-based Al Dahra, a consortium backed by Russian, German and Hungarian capital and several other local and foreign companies.
