"DELTA MAXI": 85% of all debts paid to suppliers
- "Delta maxi group" has paid about 85% of all debts to suppliers, while the rest will be paid within the next five working days - said Vojkan Glavinić, the Finance Director of that company.
He said at the press conference that the deadline for payment, which amounted to 10-120 days at the moment, would be additionally shortened. "Delta maxi group" usually makes the payment within 40 to 70 days.
Glavinić reminded that the meeting with Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković had been held the last week, and that it had been determined on that occasion that the market chains in Serbia had paid over 70% of debts to their suppliers.
According to his words, the second part of the year is more active and favorable for retail operations.
Glavinić said that "Delta" supplied 10,000 small trade stores and had difficulties with collecting the payments from them.
Glavinić said that the level of Delta's claims in field of agriculture from individual agricultural manufacturers and agricultural combines was 2.5 times larger than the obligations of "Delta maxi".
