New Microsoft's operative system "Windows 7", which will appear in European market on October 22nd, 2009, can be pre-ordered at favorable prices in several European countries starting today (July 15, 2009).

According to the unofficial portal dedicated to "Windows 7" (windows7news.com), the pre-ordering phase began today in Germany, France and the United Kingdom. It seems to have been quite the rush as several stores, such as French "Amazon", are already notifying customers that the discounted pre-orders have sold out.

It has been announced that the pre-ordering phase will last until August 14, while French newspaper "Figaro" says that the home version of "Windows 7" can be bought at the minimum price of 49 EUR.

According to that newspaper, the new system should make up for partial failure that "Microsoft" experienced with previous OS "Windows Vista".

Analytic company IDC anticipates that 177m copies of "Windows 7" will be installed on the computers all around the world prior to the end of year 2010, about 50m of which in Europe.

The pre-ordering phase in the United States of America has already started.
