P&O Ports Dubai's application for privatization of Port of Novi Sad deemed valid
As the Ministry of Economy announced, the decision was made after the commission's second session, held on March 18, 2019, where the bidder's supplemented documentation was examined.
The commission determined that P&O Ports Dubai had fully complied with the Ministry of Economy's decision of March 5, 2019, meeting all the terms from the public call, as well as that the supplemented documentation was in line with the Instructions to Bidder and the regulations pertaining to privatization procedures.
In the upcoming period, the Ministry of Economy will invite the bidder for the opening of the financial bid.
Let us remind that it had been determined after the opening of the only bid for the privatization of the Port of Novi Sad that it was incomplete. As it was announced at the time, the Ministry of Economy was to officially notify the authorities in the UAE of this and request the documentation to be supplemented.
