First Italian-Serbian gathering of scientists to discuss sustainable development in Belgrade – Focus on initiatives of Club of Rome

The first gathering of scientists and professors from Italy and Serbia to discuss sustainable development is organized on Monday, March 18, 2019, at the Belgrade University Rectorate.

The focus of the event is on the initiatives of the Club of Rome, an association of scientists, economists, entrepreneurs, heads of state and activists co-founded in 1968 by Aurelio Peccei. Inequality, climate change, energy sources, protection of peace and globalization are the central initiatives of the Club of Rome since its foundation. It consists of 35 national associations, including the Serbian one since 2015, which participates in solving the issues of sustainable and inclusive development.


The event is organized in cooperation with the attaché for science at the Italian Embassy in Belgrade, the Club of Rome in Serbia and the University of Belgrade. The Club of Rome in Serbia has organized eight lectures so far.
