Powerful Russian banker to head new Agrokor?

Maxim Poletaev, the adviser of Sberbank's management and the company's “man for Agrokor”, is the most likely candidate for the chairman of the Managing Board of Fortenova Group, the new name of Agrokor beginning with April 1, index.hr reports.

The decision on the appointment of Poletaev should be confirmed at the first session of the Shareholders Meeting, which includes around 400 Agrokor's creditors, it is reported.


Regarding the new corporate management structure, it has been announced that the Managing Board will have a total of nine members, and the group will have three executive directors.

The extraordinary trustee, Fabris Perusko, is a candidate for the executive member of the Managing Board. Perusko has also been nominated for the CEO of Fortenova Group.
