According to him, in the upcoming year, the priority will be a new fiscal policy, pertaining to fiscalization of fiscal cash registers.
As he clarified, the plan is for all fiscal cash registers in Serbia to be connected in real time to the Tax Administration, which will help detect illegal trade.
He said that software which will enable all tax collection, especially VAT collection, to be done in as short amount of time as possible, would be procured before the end of the year.
He added that it would enable quicker VAT returns. Mali reminded that the Tax Administration had started issuing several tax certificates electronically on March 1, 2019.
Mali emphasized that certificates of paid taxes, certificates of paid health insurance contributions, certificates of paid VAT and certificates of paid withheld taxes and contributions were issued electronically.
