Comtrade Group launches Voyego – Travel and mobility branch

Comtrade Group, the leading provider of services of software engineering and software solutions, has established an independent branch for the travel sector (transport and mobility), called Voyego.

This branch will be headquartered in Dublin, and a part of the operations will be carried out at the office in Berlin. It has grown from the company's former transport and mobility unit. This business unit has had a growth of revenues of 40% in the past 12 months with the leading companies in this sector, including Ryanair, Aer Lingus and Daimler.

Around 250 Comtrade employees will make up the new Voyego team. Their main activity will be to help airlines and various organizations from the domain of land transport to upgrade user experience in their fields of operation. Whether it's the upgrade of travel interfaces, the improvement of payment processes or the acceleration of market penetration, technological innovations are the key strategic orientation and the basis of all projects at Voyego.

– As an internal division of Comtrade for transport and mobility, we have achieved incredible success, especially in the past year, and now is the time to enhance this through Voyego's independent operations. Voyego will develop mobile apps, responsive websites for the air industry and innovative payment solutions, which will enable airlines to quickly implement new payment methods and reduce payment processing costs. Voyego's original solutions open new sources of ancillary income for airlines. For example, the Adnexa platform facilitates the adaptation and targeting of ads to precisely defined groups of passengers for airlines. It does so through various channels, including boarding tickets, in-flight entertainment programs and similar features.

For the land transport market, Voyego develops platforms for the management of rolling stocks and innovative sales solutions. It also offers consulting services and services of a quick production of prototypes. The branch has also launched its Digital Transport Laboratory, where it tests innovative business models and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, chatbots and blockchain.

Voyego plans to continue its successful operations from the internal development phase and double its income by 2021. Combining the most modern technology with detailed knowledge of the transport and mobility sector will allow the leading players in this sphere to innovate through unique targeted solutions. The projected growth is expected to create a large number of new jobs, both in Ireland and in other countries, in the next three years.

Although the branch is only now beginning to work officially, some of the key players in the transport and mobility sector, which serve millions of passengers worldwide, already use Voyego's technological solutions. Prominent examples include the ad platform Adnexa and Avan2Go, a platform for electric vehicle rolling stock, used in five cities in Slovenia.
