Agreement on preparation of project of skiing infrastructure on Avala signed – Investment worth EUR 5 million

Concrete steps towards the opening of a ski run on Avala have been taken. The project of the construction of skiing infrastructure was signed with the consortium of Integral Trading Corporation and Ornament Invest Engineering, the sole bidder at the tendering procedure.

The company will need to prepare a plan of the positions of all the features planned on Avala, which would fit in with the existing ones. As stated in the explanation, when it comes to the adventure park, installations need to be positioned so as to keep the users safe.

In order to utilize the potentials of the terrain, the optimal length of the ski run needs to be set. The consortium will need to set the positions of the bobsled, the zipline and mini golf courses.

As previously announced by the PE Ski Resorts of Serbia, the run will be around 550 meters long, and one section will feature a special layer, so that the run can be used when there is no snow. This complex will be located below the tower and next to the Mitrovic Home.

The costs of the construction of the ski run should amount to around EUR 5 million. The run will be in the medium-hard category.
