Office-residential complex K-District to be raised in Dorcol – Project worth EUR 200 million, 115,000 m2 and two underground garages to be built
The investors in the project which is to be carried out in the location of the former textile factory Beko are the Dutch Pinnacle and the Serbian AGNS Invest from Novi Sad. The project will be carried out in three phases and is worth nearly EUR 200 million. A total of 115,000 m2 of above-ground space will be built, as well as two underground garages.
As Novosti reports, there are currently numerous workers and construction machines in the location beneath Kalemegdan. Trucks are driving away the excavated soil, and the entrance is guarded by security. Also, ten structures have been torn down.
The deadline for the completion of phase A, which entails five residential complexes, is May 5, 2020. Facilities may have two underground levels, seven floors and a loft. The area in lower Dorcol takes up 120,000 m2.
The main building of the former industrial facility Beko will be kept and turned into a business center.
The facility was bought from the Dutch company Pinnacle by Marera Properties, a Russian company headquartered in Belgrade, in order to turn this building into the Kalemegdan Business Center. The facility will offer office space of 160 to 2,375 m2.
The project was presented in 2018 as one of the most exclusive projects in the Serbian capital.
In addition to the construction of the office-residential complex, the investors are obliged to prepare a draft project for the park and the surrounding area. The development of a promenade is expected, which will connect the Belgrade Fortress with Beton Hala and the Danube.
