Carlsberg Serbia announces production of Zrenjaninsko Pivo

Carlsberg Serbia announced yesterday that it would start producing Zrenjaninsko Pivo again, the traditional brand of Zrenjanin.

The project of the revival of the recognizable Zrenjaninsko Pivo brand will be presented on February 1 at the Town Hall at a press conference, where Mayor Cedomir Janjic and Carlsberg Serbia CEO Vladimir Vava will address the audience.

As said, the project of the revival of Zrenjaninsko Pivo is the result of cooperation of the Town of Zrenjanin and Carlsberg Serbia, and the presentation will be followed by a seven-day testing period, during which all citizens of Zrenjanin will have the opportunity to pick new flavors and label designs for their favorite brand.

Zrenjaninsko Pivo used to be produced by Zrenjaninska Industrija Piva (ZIP), but the production stopped in 2006. In 2010, bankruptcy proceedings were initiated and the company was declared bankrupt later that year.
