The aim of Hotel Summit Serbia is to showcase the most relevant examples of innovative business and the current trends in the hospitality industry in the country, the region and the world. The conference, organized by the INB2B Media publishing house and the InHotel magazine, will be held for the second year in a row on March 21, 2019, at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Belgrade.

Over 15 international presenters from Great Britain, Russia, Germany, France, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia will share the latest research results, examples of good business practices, trends, challenges and secrets of success in the demanding markets of the hospitality sector with the participants. According to Euromonitor International, the number of international incoming trips is expected to continue stable growth of 5% annually during the next five years to exceed 1.5 trillion trips already in 2020. Which megatrends will shape the hospitality sector in the years to come and how can understanding them help hoteliers to adapt and upgrade their operations? What do partnerships which preserve individual values of hotel brands, while also providing consulting and operating support, mean for hoteliers?

Slovenia is one of the countries which are successfully building the concept of glamping – luxury camping, and Croatia has successfully revitalized its spa tourism. What can Serbia learn from its neighbors?

From January till August 2018, there were 6,646,888 overnight stays in Serbia, 62% of which were realized by local tourists, whereas 38% were realized by foreign tourists, mostly from B&H, Montenegro, Turkey, Romania, Germany and China. Exclusive research by IPSOS will show how those who visit Serbia perceive it.

There will also be talk about what destination management involves and how Serbia can improve in this field, as well as whether combining a long-term strategy with short-term solutions is effective when it comes to revenue management.

The conference will also examine the potential of online platforms for achieving business goals and show how an innovative approach can bring success in a demanding market using the example of a hotel in London.

The keynote speaker, Arne Klehn, the multi-property general manager at Mariott Hotel Budapest, will close the conference.

The organizer offers a 50% discount for early application, as well as special benefits for group applications. Full information is available at hotel-summit.rs.
