Komercijalna Banka obtained loan from EFSE - 20m EUR for entrepreneurial development in Serbia
Komercijalna Banka in Belgrade announced that it had obtained the loan of 20m EUR from the European Fund for Southeastern Europe (EFSE) for stimulation of development of micro and small enterprises in Serbia.
According to the joint announcement, that is the largest loan that EFSE has ever granted to a financial institution in Serbia, and it is the first loan ever approved by one of the world's largest microfinance investment funds to Komercijalna Banka.
The loan contract was signed by the representatives of EFSE and Komercijalna Banka at the ongoing 3rd annual meeting of EFSE in Novi Sad.
Total amount of EFSE's investments in Serbia has reached 100m EUR, while the value of overall investment portfolio in southeast Europe amounts to 551m EUR.
