Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) has procured three modern vehicles worth RSD 82 million thanks to which malfunctions within the power network will be located and addressed in the shortest amount of time, regardless of the weather conditions and the accessibility of the terrain, stated the acting director of EPS, Milorad Grcic.

Grcic told Tanjug that the three Ford vehicles were some of the most modern ones in the world. They are fully autonomous and have their own power generators, and Grcic said that he hoped that they would procure more such vehicles in 2019.

He reminded that an EPS team had needed to walk for 30 kilometers through ice and snow to find the critical spot in Kladovo not long before.

– In a specific way, by sending impulses, these vehicles can determine the type of malfunction in a manner of minutes – Grcic said.
