Delta to open shopping center in Varna in March 2019 – Investment worth EUR 120 million
The investment of Delta and AP Invest in the second biggest shopping center in Bulgaria is worth EUR 120 million and 88.3% of retail space has been rented so far, as they told the press in Sofia.
The shopping mall has 110,000 m2 and is bigger by a third than Belgrade's Delta City.
In addition to a Billa hypermarket, it will also feature 200 shops where renowned world brands will be available, as well as 12 movie theaters and an area for families with children.
Zorana Zdrale Burlic, CEO of Delta Real Estate, said that several products from Serbia could become available at the shopping center in Varna.
She said that Delta had prepared four projects in Serbia – the construction of the company's office center, Delta Center, Delta Planet shopping center in Autokomanda and a hypermarket in Nis, and that they were still waiting for the city authorities to issue the permits.
– We have prepared the projects and secured the financing. We are now waiting for the permits – she said.
As Zdrale Burlic said, the opening of the shopping center built by Delta in Banjaluka has been scheduled for March 21, 2019.
