Hainan Airlines discontinues Beijing-Belgrade air service

China’s Hainan Airlines has discontinued the Belgrade-Beijing air service. The last flight on the Belgrade-Prague-Beijing route took place on Monday, Politika writes in today’s issue.

The daily writes that they were told by the management of the Nikola Tesla Airport that the Chinese airliner Hainan Airline had notified them of the cancellation of the Beijing service.

As noted, there have been speculations lately about the cancellation of this air route due to an insufficient number of passengers.

Last year, Hainan Airlines decided to extend the Beijing-Prague route to include Belgrade. The service was launched on September 15, 2017, with two flights a week, the daily reminds.
