Beginning with 2019, the Business Registers Agency will implement forced liquidation of companies that fail to submit financial reports for the last two financial years, the Agency told Tanjug.

The measure, they remind, is proscribed by the new Company Law. The forced liquidation procedure will start being implemented once the software is prepared, based on which the Agency will determine which companies meet the requirements for the procedure to be initiated.

After the deadlines for the submission of financial reports expire, the companies will be deleted from the register, the Agency adds.

As they say, they expect these innovations to make companies comply with regulations to a greater extent.
