Around 4,000 guests will be present at the 4th Serbian Vision Congress. This multicongress will bring together 60 participants – representatives of the civil society, institutes, universities, professional associations and enterprises. At the two-day congress, they will present their vision and the solution to making the economy more efficient, the civil sector stronger, and the total development of Serbia quicker.

The congress will take place this weekend, on November 24 and 25, at Hotel Radisson Collection, Old Mill, and citizens of Belgrade can attend one of 60 events for free. As in the previous years, Serbian Visions is organized by the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbia) in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS). The aim of the multicongress is to strengthen the role of the civil society in the country and create a more favorable business environment.

Mihailo Vesovic, an adviser to the president of the CCIS, points out that it is important what kind of business and legal environment we live in and that suggestions and advice on starting a business in all fields, but also on finding solutions to concrete problems we meet, will be presented at the panels.

Some of the most interesting panels, according to him, will deal with the implementation of 3D technology, female entrepreneurship, electronic business and agriculture, as one of the strategic branches of Serbia`s economy.

– We will be able to hear how businesses were launched, which obstacles our entrepreneurs encountered, but also motivational stories about enterprises in Serbia. It`s important to learn about as many good experiences as possible and to learn from others` mistakes, as well as to see how to overcome certain problems we all encounter. In that sense, all processes are based on the public-private dialogue – Vesovic said.

Martin Knapp, the Executive Director of AHK Serbia, agrees with this and says that everyone will find something interesting in Serbian Visions` program.

As he adds, “this will be a great opportunity for NGOs, professional associations and many other institutions to present their activities, to discuss topics such as human rights, economy, education, culture, environmental protection and many others important to modern people with students, citizens, experts and everyone who`s interested”, Knapp explains.

As last year, the Serbian Visions team will hand out awards for the best visions and the best social engagement. The contents of the congress and the presentation schedule can be found HERE.
