First Italian-Serbian Forum of Sustainable, Green and Circular Economy on November 26-27 in Belgrade
The main goal of the forum is to present 22 projects developed by the Italian National Research Council CNR, and approved by the Government of Serbia as projects of great importance, to potential investors. In January 2015, CNR and the Ministry of Agriculture of Serbia signed a protocol of cooperation aiming to provide institutional support to the implementation of innovative projects which will contribute to a quicker development and modernization of the agricultural industry and the sector of environment and energy in Serbia.
Thanks to its experience in this field, Italy can transfer its know-how to Serbia, thereby helping support the industrialization and raising Serbia's market capacity, especially in the sectors of biology, agriculture, food industry, green chemistry and environmental protection.
The participants will be addressed by Erich Cossutta, the president of Confindustria Serbia, Carlo Lo Cascio, Italian Ambassador, Branislav Nedimovic, Serbian Agriculture Minister, and Goran Trivan, Serbian Environment Minister.
