Serbia receives EUR 200 million in credits for investments in health infrastructure
CEB has set aside EUR 200 million for Serbia for investments in health infrastructure, says the statement sent to Tanjug.
The funds will be used to finance the extension of several public health institutions in around 20 towns in Serbia, which is expected to benefit close to 1.3 million people, including patients and medical staff, the press release adds.
Of the former Yugoslav countries, only Slovenia got a credit of EUR 50 million for the financing of the construction of 800 new social housing units in Ljubljana and Maribor.
Other countries to receive credits are the Czech Republic (EUR 100 million), Finland (EUR 60 million), Georgia (EUR 5 million), Germany (EUR 80 million), Italy (EUR 150 million), Latvia (EUR 15 million), Poland (EUR 150 million), Romania (EUR 177 million) and Spain (EUR 100 million).
