Lidl to open stores in Vrsac, Indjija, Jagodina and Kikinda on November 22
– We aim to offer a simpler, better and more affordable shopping experience to people in Serbia, and these four new stores will help us reach customers in new towns. There's a great interest in our stores and plenty of positive comments, such as those praising the freshness of our baked products, the efficiency of our cash register workers and the spacious parking lots. The great interest in Lidl brands shows that local consumers are already familiar with our products from Lidl stores in other countries, or they simply trust us, which makes us especially proud – said Martina Petrovic, Head of Corporate Communications at Lidl Serbia.
After the opening, Lidl will have 23 stores in Serbia, and another expansion is expected in 2019. In the past month, citizens have been able to get to know the carefully selected range of products, featuring the optimal price/quality ratio and including local products, in addition to unique Lidl brands. As a new feature implemented ahead of the holiday season, Lidl presents top quality deluxe products, which will only be available until the end of the year.
As is the case with all Lidl stores opened so far, the new ones will work each day from 8 am till 10 pm.
