New Novares plant opens in Zrenjanin – Jobs for 50 workers, investments worth EUR 5.2 million

The ribbon-cutting ceremony today in Zrenjanin marked the official opening of the expanded production facility within the Novares Serbia factory which manufactures plastic components for automotive industry. Jobs are secured for additional 50 workers.

The Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic, Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali, President of the Provincial Government Igor Mirovic have cut the ribbon together with the Novares CEO Pierre Boulet , the mayor of Zrenjanin Cedomir Janjic and the Ambassador of France to Serbia Frédéric Mondoloni.

Novares is a French multinational group and a few years ago it began its operations in Serbia in from the facility which is a part of the Free zone and is located on Lazarevac road near Zrenjanin-Vrsac state highway.

New expanded production space covers the area of 3,000 m2 and has increased the total factory area for one third in size. The new facility is equipped with special technology and robots including five injection molding machines and a clean room for new production lines which will manufacture engine components, namely water outlets using the infrared welding , automatic component insertion and leak detection methods.


Novares will increase the number of workers in this facility from the current 190 to 240 in 2019.

This business expansion project is worth EUR 5,25 million and it was realized with the support of the Provincial Government which invested EUR 200,000 and the Government of Serbia which invested EUR 300,000.

Novares distributes most of its components to Fiat Serbia through Free Zone Kragujevac. Beside that , it manufactures products for PSA Group branches in Slovakia and Iran, Romanian Dacia plant and Jaguar – Land Rover Group branch in Austria.
