Third summit of transport ministers of China and 16 CEE countries in Belgrade on October 15-17
Chinese Transport Minister Li Xiaopeng, representative of the Secretariat for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries Li Yuje and Vice Mayor of Beijing Wang Hong have confirmed their arrival to Belgrade.
In the same period, the third forum of the mayors of the capitals of the countries within the 16+1 initiative will be held. Among the mayors to attend the forum is Mayor of Belgrade Zoran Radojicic.
This is a part of the initiative of the Government of China which aims to incite cooperation with the countries of the region.
The 16+1 initiative was launched in Poland in 2012 to the end of developing economic, political and cultural cooperation and share information about tourism, energy affairs and the development of infrastructure.
