Novi Sad opens non-binding call for private partner for Spens
This was announced in the early summer by Mayor Milos Vucinic, and the call will show to the city authorities whether there are interested local or foreign companies, funds or individuals ready to invest in developing and then managing this sports complex.
As the ad specifies, investments in Spens entail all the works for needed for its more efficient utilization, improved energy efficiency, a more stable infrastructure, which entails all the construction works and other activities, including the mounting of installations, facility and equipment, as well as investments in additional space, which will comprise a separate or unified functional or technical unit. All these works can be executed in the area of the existing facility, whereas new features would be located on the corner of Sutjeska Street and Cara Lazara Blvd.
The management and the upgrade of the operations of Spens, it is further said, entail the running of the company's operations by a professional management with experience in managing facilities of similar size or purpose in the region or the world.
In addition to the data on the partner and the references, the letter of interest should feature a general spatial plan for a period of at least 15 years, a preliminary investment program, a plan for the structure of financing and security instruments.
The bid submission deadline is December 20, at 12 o'clock, and the collected bids will be analyzed by the competent commission.
