New projects are being prepared in the territory of the municipality of Raska. Skiers will thereby be able to enjoy their favorite activity on the Lisac hill as well in this part of Serbia, in addition to Kopaonik and Golija. As eKapija learns at the municipal administration, the construction and the reconstruction of the ski lift with ski tracks in the Raska settlement of Supnje in this location is planned.

For the purpose of the further development of skiing and entertainment features in the area of the Raska ski center, the municipal administration of Raska has opened the tender for the preparation of the project-technical documentation for the construction of the skiing infrastructure through a public collection of bids.

As the tendering documentation says, the plan is to build a double-seat ski lift with the accompanying ski tracks, to build an artificial snow system, a training grounds for children, summer entertainment features (an adventure park, an artificial rock), a rail bobsled, as well as a parking lot.

The project entails the construction and the reconstruction of the double-seat ski lift facility in a new location within the Raska ski center. The two ski tracks next to the future ski lift, it is said, should be designed with a minimum width of 30-40 m, while taking into account the optimization of the construction works required, in line with the regulations in this field.

The documentation says that, regarding the artificial snow system, the short time period for the artificial snowing, in line with the increase of average temperatures, should be taken into consideration.

To that end, the equipment and the installations should be designed so as to guarantee the optimal usage of the short time period of low temperatures (-3°C to -10°C) for the procuring entity, with a total time of the production of artificial snow of 100 hours at -3°C, so that the said area is covered by an artificial snow layer of at least 30 cm.

The plan also includes a park with up to 25 obstacles (paths). This should be a standalone park, not including the existing trees where necessary, and if the conditions allow for it, it should use the existing trees with the characteristics meeting the regulations for this type of feature.

When it comes to entertainment features, the plan also includes an artificial rock for free-climbing, in the zone of the adventure park. The rock should have an irregular shape and four sides and should be wider at the top. The height should not exceed 10 meters.

A rail bobsled within the Raska ski center is also planned. The climbing height needs to be double that of the drop length, and the system should be designed for both summer and winter use, according to the documentation.

The projects keeps in mind the youngest users as well. Interesting features should be included in the baby park, with maximum-security equipment. Ground features, such as a mini wooden labyrinth with obstacles, nets, climbers, mini wooden benches for climbing and so on, are planned.

As said, the choice and the shaping of the spatially developed structure, the functional organization and the purpose of the space are defined in line with the spatial, climate and geomorphological characteristics of the terrain. In a wider sense, they are in the function of the revitalization and the economic development of the municipality of Raska.

The deadline for the submission of bids is September 28, at 12 o'clock, whereas the public opening of bids will take place on the same date, at 12.15 at the premises of the procuring entity – the meeting room at the Municipality Administration of Raska.
