Ministry of economy announces sale of Valjevska Pivara capital – Initial price at EUR 7 million
The deadline for submitting applications for the public auction is October 5. The bids will be opened on October 8.
Valjevska pivara employs around 190 workers and operates at profit. The state took over the company after the failed privatization that took place in 2003.
Pivara was then sold for RSD 20 million to Belgrade-based Atlas Group consortium which consisted of Triglav Osiguranje d.o.o., Ekspres Gradina d.o.o and the former Atlas Bank. The company went bankrupt in 2010 because it couldn't pay off its debts.
