Open competition for 60m RSD worth of aid for promotion of competitiveness – deadline for applications is April 6th

Republic SME Development Agency has announced an open competition today (March 4, 2009) for allotment of 60m RSD worth of non-refundable financial aid for promotion of competitiveness and innovations of the companies in Serbia.

According to the announcement, small and mid-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs, business incubators and clusters can get between 50,000 and 600,000 RSD for the projects aimed at strengthening of competitiveness.

Deadline for submission of application forms is April 6th, and the enterprises will receieve up to 50% of the costs of the approved project.

The money can be granted for the making of business plans, introduction of new systems of quality, standardization and certification, improvement of existing and development of new technological processes, products and services.

The companies can also apply with the projects for design of specialized software for improvement of operations, education of management and employees, as well as with the projects for improvement of industrial safety and health.

All those interested can ask the Republic SME Development Agency and regional agencies, centres and offices in Serbia for additional information.
