Serbia gets first research center for environmental agriculture
The founders are the Center for Organic Production Selenca, the Creative Education Center from Novi Sad and Arhus Centar Novi Sad.
At the founding assembly, it was emphasized that the goals of the newly founded association were the provision of services contributing to the enhancement of micro, small and medium organic producers, the development of the organic production sector and the markets in the region and the establishment of cooperation with EU institutions.
Center for Coordination and Transfer of Applied Research in Environmental Agriculture has prepared strategically important, long-term documents, not just for this organization, but for all participants in the sector of organic production in Serbia and the surrounding countries – the Strategy of Development for 2018-2023 and the Action Plan for its implementation.
The center is established as part of the Organic Bridge project, realized through the Interreg CBC Serbia-Croatia program. Eco Agri Center counts on support from EU funds in its further infrastructural equipping.
