– We have obtained the construction permit and are in the process of registering the construction site – our interviewee points out and adds that the opening of Block II is planned for October 2019.
The building of the new block of the General Hospital Sveti Jovan Zrenjanin will take up 1,330 m2.
The capacity will increase from 20 to 50 beds, the number of walk-in clinics by 4, and an outpatient hospital will open as well, Davidov adds.
Among other things, the plan is to procure the equipment for the gastroenterology cabinet, ultrasound devices and cardio stress equipment, and the investment will amount to a total of EUR 1 million.
The rough construction works will be completed by MV Invest, whereas Novi Sad’s Arhimonn is the author of the project.
Let us remind that the Special Surgery Hospital in Zrenjanin was founded 2001 and worked as such until 2009, when capacities and the range of medical services needed to expand, for which reason it was turned into the General Hospital Sveti Jovan.
