Record results at Nikola Tesla Airport – Goods and mail traffic increases by 50%

The Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is having its most successful summer season so far. In July, it served the record number of 670,354 passengers, that is, 6% more than in July 2017. A total of 6,449 departures and landings were recorded, an increase by 5%. The traffic of goods and mail grew by 50% compared to July 2017, the Belgrade Airport announced yesterday.

In the second half of July, the airport broke all-time daily records in the number of passengers as many as five times, and the busiest day was July 31, when 24,306 passengers passed through the Belgrade Airport.

In the first seven months of the current year, a total of 3,134,106 passengers were served, which is 7%, or around 200,000 passengers, more than in the same period last year, whereas the total traffic of goods and mail increased by 24%.


This summer season, 36 airliners fly from the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport to 67 destination in the regular air transport regime and 28 destinations in the charter regime.
