CTP invests EUR 75 million into expansion activities in Serbia - Acquisition of property in Belgrade and Novi Sad announced
CTPs first investment, located in the capital, Belgrade is a 12,000-m2 facility accommodating an existing client, Phoenix Pharm, with an extension possibility of 5,500 m2. Second investment in CTPark Belgrade West in facility of 13.555 m2, which is located on neighboring site is under development with planned opening in second quartal of 2019.
The Novi Sad Facility, with a delivery date Q3/2019, will be over 23,000 m2. Just 80 km from the Capital, Novi Sad, the country’s second largest city, is an industrial and financial center in its own right, with over 340,000 inhabitants. Novi Sad is an industrial and financial center important to the Serbian economy along Belgrade. The University of Novi Sad has more than 50,000 students and 5,000 employees and, as such, is one of the largest educational research centres in Central Europe. Science and Technology Park Phase II is located in the University campus. This is an important attribute for potential CTP clients, most of whom come from the automotive, high-tech manufacturing and logistics industries.
