On Friday, July 20, the Belgrade Airport recorded an all-time peak in the number of passengers per day, with 23,335 travelers served by the airport on that date, the airport says in its press release.

The previous record was made just four days earlier, on Monday, July 16, when 23,320 passengers used the airport’s services, whereas in the last two weeks of July, over 300,000 passengers passed through the Belgrade Airport.

Another record was made on July 9, when the number of arriving passengers amounted to 11,887, exceeding the previous record of May 18, when there were 11,810.

With the projected growth of the number of passengers on charter flights by the end of the summer season by around 25% compared to the previous season, the growth of the number of passengers by 7% in the first half of the year and 2.5 million passengers served eight days earlier than last year, the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport expects another record year, it is said.
