WIZZ AIR: We will continue flying from Nis
As Juzne Vesti reports, citing the Fly from Nis portal, this is the first company to make a public statement after the transfer of the management rights to the state. Wizz Air does not want to comment on the development, but the company says that they have always been “adaptable to the changes in a demanding market thanks to planning ahead and achieving a greater influence”.
– Wizz Air wants to continue strengthening its position in the market as the leading low-cost airliner in Central and Eastern Europe – the company says.
The cooperation of Wizz Air and the Nis Airport would thereby continue. The Hungarian company was the first low-cost carrier to arrive to Nis, back in 2015, and launch services to Malmo and Basel.
Let us remind that Wizz Air currently flies from Nis to Basel, Dortmund, Malmo and Memmingen and that they’ve discontinued the Eindhoven service. They have announced the launch of the Nis – Vienna service for this November.
