New sports and recreation center in Ribarska Banja to be completed by August 1 – Investment worth EUR 70 million
– With the construction of these facilities, we want to make the offer in the spa more complete and enable those interested from Krusevac and its area to come here and enjoy the sports facilities on offer – says Dr Dusan Sokorac, the Director General of the Special Rehabilitation Hospital Ribarska Banja.
– There's already a tennis court here, and in addition to the pool and the beach volleyball courts, guests will be able to rent bikes and ride them on developed bicycle lanes.
The management believe that the new complex will widen the offer, which already includes the popular cultural summer, featuring performances by folk ensembles, festivals of food and old crafts, art colonies...
The special hospital has around 500 beds, and the capacities are full during the summer (around 200 belong to the NHIF system), and in addition to the villas at the spa, tourists are also provided with around 400 beds in three private hotels and village households not far away from the spa.
