After Bucharest and Sofia, the seventh SEETEST conference places Serbia on the map of countries concerned with software quality control. The conference will be held on September 27-28, 2018, at Hotel Crowne Plaza Belgrade.

As the organizers announce, IT professionals from the region will be able to see and hear 29 lecturers from over 20 countries, but also attend theoretical and practical software quality testing workshops.

According to the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualification Board), there are currently over 535,000 qualified testers in 150 countries, in addition to Serbia, which own standardized qualifications and are accredited in this field. Each day, more than 10,000 professionals test system and app software in this part of Europe alone. The software testing market is constantly growing. Last year, it grew by 14%, and it is currently worth over USD 30 billion.

This international conference will host well-known lecturers, but also present works by other authors, selected by the program committee. As was the case in the past years, over 300 visitors from the region are expected to attend.

The program encompasses hot testing topics such as Basics of AI and AI, Basic Practical Principles of Load and Performance, Typical Challenges when scaling Agile, Test Automation, Security Testing, Mobile Testing and Cloud Testing.

The lecturers come from the USA, Great Britain, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Israel, Germany, India, Serbia and Russia and include important names in the software testing world such as Erik van Veenendaal, the author of a number of books and papers within the profession and the recipient of numerous awards, Paul Gerrard, a software quality control specialist, as well as Mette Bruhn-Pedersen, Olivier Denoo, Yaron Tsubery and Vipul Kocher.
