The Israeli company Wood Feel signed an agreement on the lease of 7,000 m2 in the building of former Konfekcija 7. juli in Kursumlija on June 19. By the end of the year, a furniture plant, which will employ at least a hundred workers, will open in this location.

Ran Aviad, owner of the Israeli company, pointed out that, following the renovation, the production would start in the autumn.

– I am very pleased that we are opening a plant in Kursumlija, where we will produce furniture for worldwide export. Since raw materials are available here, we will install the most modern machinery at the plant, with the help of which, I am sure, we will make furniture of the highest quality – Aviad pointed out.

He also said that a certain number of workers would go to Israel for training.

As he says, an agreement with the Kursumlija-based plant Simpo-Sik on the delivery of the elements required for the production of furniture at the new factory, has already been made.

– I hope that the first pieces of furniture produced at the Kursumlija plant will be exhibited at the world furniture fair in New York this October – Aviad said.
