Test production begins at IM Srem Sid – Official opening to follow soon

Test production has started at IM Srem Sid, and the official opening is expected to take place soon.

All the necessary equipment has been installed, the company has been registered and the only thing left is for the Turkish inspection to arrive on Wednesday and authorize the production, Sremska TV announces.

According to the agreement, 4,000 tons of beef should be sent to Turkey by the end of the year, and at least 10,000 tons have already been agreed for the next one.

Let us remind that, after IM Srem Sid became ownership of the consortium of Agropapuk and Djurdjevic, the owner of the meat packing plant, Milenko Djurdjevic, stated that he would invest EUR 3.5 million together with Agropapuk, and the official beginning of the production was announced for late June.
