Construction of waste water treatment facility worth EUR 6.2 million begins in Raska

The construction of a waste water treatment facility in the village of Rvati, in the municipality of Raska, has been confirmed for eKapija by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

The value of this EU-supported project exceeds EUR 6.2 million.

Minister Goran Trivan attended the beginning of the construction, as did the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Ambassador Sem Fabrizi, and assistant to the minister of finance, Dusan Carkic.

With the realization of this project, all the waste water in the municipality of Raska will be collected and treated at the new facility in the village of Rvati. The improvement of the services in the domain of collection of waste water and water supply and the improvement of water quality, public health and environmental protection will also benefit the residents living downstream from the village along the Ibar and those living in the West Morava basin.
