Heineken invests EUR 11 million in Zajecar brewery in two years
As the company announced, Viktor Gillhofer, Managing Director of Heineken Serbia, introduced the attendees to the results achieved, global safety procedures and investments of the company in the past decade.
He pointed out that the company had invested EUR 11 million in the Zajecar brewery in the past two years alone. Last year, he said, the capacities were expanded and a new can filling line opened.
During the visit to the Zajecar brewery, the prime minister pointed out that importance of Heineken's investment of EUR 200 million in Serbia in the past 10 years.
The Dutch ambassador emphasized the positive impact of Dutch companies in local markets.
Gillhofer pointed out that Heineken Serbia would continue being a responsible resident of the Republic of Serbia, cooperating with interested parties and investing in the local community.
– The company establishes, develops and maintains stable relations and cooperation with local self-governments. We plan to continue investing in the local community's activities and projects. Heineken believes in this country and wants to stay here, as we honor the culture and hard-working people in Serbia – Gillhofer stated.
Since its arrival to the Serbian market, Heineken has improved technical standards and capacities of its breweries, which now have the most prestigious international certificates of quality, business, production, organization and environmental protection.
