Part of ATP Vojvodina bus station in Novi Sad up for sale again – Initial price EUR 2.55 million
As the ad says, the property has been split into two lots.
The first one consists of a new bus service on 2,821 m2, as well as a smaller facility on 71 m2. The initial price is EUR 1.68 million.
The second lot consists of the old bus service on 2,118 m2 and the old management building on 504 m2, and the initial price is EUR 896,000.
The public bidding will be held on June 21, and the deposit payment deadline expires three days earlier.
The property was also put up for sale back in 2015, when the initial price for the new service was EUR 2.4 million and for the old one EUR 1.28 million.
With this auction, the area containing the bus station, built by Ilija Devic, owner of ATP Vojvodina before the privatization was annulled, would halve, with only the new station building of nearly 5,000 square meters remaining in the ownership of what remains of this company in bankruptcy.
Let us remind that Ilija Devic bought ATP in 2004 and that the new station opened in 2007, but that it was closed after several months, as no one had used its services. Devic accused the Novi Sad authorities of having damaged him by not closing down the Inter-city Bus Station owned by the City.
In the meantime, the Privatization Agency terminated the agreement with Devic over the failure to comply with the stipulations of the agreement on the sale of ATP, and the company went into bankruptcy. Devic has also sued the City on several grounds.
