A total of 143 electric cars are registered in the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs told eKapija. For the sake of comparison, this is 15 electric cars more than in July 2017.

At the same time, according to the data provided for us by the ministry, there are 223 hybrid cars registered in the country.

Let us remind that the Public Enterprise Roads of Serbia has recently announced for our portal that they are also preparing a new public procurement procedure, as well as the installation of another 10 electric car chargers in 10 attractive locations on main traffic routes.

We also remind that, as part of the modernization of roads in Serbia, the PE Roads of Serbia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, have installed five electric car chargers within the pilot project since 2017, at toll booths Presevo, Sid, Dimitrovrgad, Subotica Jug and Belgrade near Bubanj Potok.
