International business course fostering entrepreneurship starts in Belgrade

International business course Leader Project Serbia 2018 at which entrepreneurship will be encouraged through training and networking young people has started yesterday in Belgrade and lasts until May 18. CANSEE, the Canadian-Serbian Business Association in cooperation with Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) and Richard Ivey Business School University of Western Ontario organize the educational event for 40 participants third year in a row.

Mirjana Doncic-Beaton told the participants that the organizers support all the entrepreneurs and everyone who wants to become one and invited them to make the best of their time with five Canadian educators.

- Course lecturers are true leaders in their fields of expertise and beside knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship they will brief you into what it takes to be a leader, she pointed out

She also mentioned that the winners of the competition will get a chance to present their solution in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.

Canada's Ambassador to Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro, Kati Csaba, said that the participants will have the opportunity to improve the knowledge needed for management and through case studies and problem-solving they will get the preparation needed to deal with whatever circumstances in the modern business environment.


Deputy General Manager for PKS, Mihailo Vesovic pointed out that going through the course application process was a success in and of itself.

- Just the fact that you are chosen for this course makes you all winners. Aside from education which is without doubt the most important element for success un the business world, networking entrepreneurs makes the fastest way of doing business, not in Serbia only, said Vesovic.

Canadian LEADER Project is an international educational programme that Richard Ivey Business School organizes in MBA workshops style for developing management skills in young adults.
