Serbia to host international FinTech conference xCEEd 2018 for the second time

The second international conference on digital transformation of the sector of financial services xCEEd 2018 will be held in Belgrade on May 22-23. xCEEd 2018 will focus on practical implementation of financial technologies in Central and Eastern Europe.

The organizer, the company Paneleven, in cooperation with the Department for International Trade (DIT) of Great Britain and the British Emerging Payments Association (EPA) will welcome some of the most influential global financial giants and changemakers in the global financial market.

The European Commission is another partner of the conference, which will host RegTech and blockchain panels, together with national banks from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and from the Western Balkans. Key innovators and leaders in the FinTech industry from 11 countries will also share their experiences and findings at the conference.

The xCEEd 2018 conference is the first event in the world with its own cryptocurrency xCEEdium, which the participants will be able to use at a specially designed GiftShop. The concept of financial transactions for natural persons in the future, “Branch of the Future”, will be presented through the Augmented Reality (AR) technology, the organizer's press release adds.
