Everything is ready for construction of aqua park in Block 44, in Novi Beograd, Vladimir Janković, director and co-owner of the future complex (partner of Žarko Paspalj) says that the cleaning of the terrain took more than one month and that 40,000 square meters of sand have been removed. The fist phase of the construction will follow and it will last for 7-9 months, so that the first swimmers will be able to take a swim in the complex in May 2006. There will be 11 swimming pools and 24 toboggans in the complex, which will be open about 100 days every year (prior to mid-September). Later, the complex will be covered in order to be open over the whole year. The second phase includes construction of series of sports-recreation facilities (indoor swimming pools, skating rinks, bawling rooms) on surface of 2 ha.
The complex will be full of surprises. Of 24 toboggans, 6 will be reserved only for the boldest, because the highest kamikaze will be 20 meters high !
