The US company Adient, a member of Johnson Controls, which produces car seats and interiors, is planning to open a facility in Banja Koviljaca near Loznica. This company, as eKapija learns, will soon sign an agreement on the lease of a facility of the company Pejak Handel, as confirmed by Branko Pejak, the company's owner.

The plan is for textile parts for cars to be produced at the facility in Banja Koviljaca, and the search for employees has already started.

Pejak says that the signing of the agreement is expected in the next month, whereas the facility should open by this summer.

The facility to be rented by Adient spreads across roughly 4,500 m2 and has been rented by the Serbian-Turkish company SGN Camicie so far.

– A lease for a period of two years has been defined due to the plans of the American company to build its own production facility on 13,000 m2 in Loznica – Branko Pejak points out.

We have contacted the town administration of Loznica for more information about the investment, but they don't want to come out with details about the new investor for the time being.
