eKapija to award investment of the year in Serbia - Aurea Award ceremony on March 28 in Belgrade

On Wednesday, March 28, the business portal eKapija will hand out the Aurea 2018 award for the investment of the year in Serbia for the tenth year in a row at a ceremony at Aeroklub in Belgrade,.

In addition to the main Aurea 2018 award, eKapija will also hand out two special acknowledgments for innovation and social usefulness.

The Aurea 2018 finalists are: MOTIMOVE – Device for movement assistance to disabled persons, Algo Tehnology – Products based on brown sea algae extract, Playerhunter – Social network for football players, KOOZMETIK – Natural cosmetics, Solagro – Interactive recycling presses, Lafarge houses, Ekofungi – Production of organic dehydrated vegetable mixtures and WIG – Automated system for preparation of saline solutions.

The winner will the company that ranks best by 3 criteria: innovation, social usefulness and financial potential. A six-member expert jury, consisting of representatives of renowned organizations and business associations, prominent business people and the leading domestic economists deliberated on the winner, and visitors of the eKapija portal and aurea.rs also voted.

The Aurea 2018 award ceremony will be attended by representatives of the Government of Serbia, business associations, diplomatic corps, business sector and the media.

eKapija's partner in the Aurea 2018 project is the insurance company Coface, whereas the friend of the project is Global IT Factory.

The business portal eKapija hands out the Aurea award as part of its orientation towards socially responsible business, without a financial interest, intending to promote and support project important to a sustainable development of the Serbian economy.

The direct benefit for the winners, but also all the investments shortlisted for the award, is promotion, which further materializes through increased visibility with investors, easier communication with media, banks, public administration and other potential partners.

The initiative of eKapija to support projects good for a sustainable development of the Serbian economy with the Aurea award has resulted in a wide media promotion of over 80 innovative companies in individuals since 2009.
