Rimaster considering raising plant near Lebane – Swedish cable manufacturer might employ 600 workers
On this occasion, a meeting was held with potential investors from Sweden who are interested in investing in this municipality. Following the meeting, they visited several factories, currently in bankruptcy, which might be good locations for the opening of a production facility of this Swedish company in Lebane.
– Some details that would be realized in 2018 and 2019 were agreed at the meeting, and the facility should be built on 5,000 square meters in the village of Bosnjace – Bogdanovic said, as reported on the website of the Municipality of Lebane.
The president of the Regional Chamber of Commerce for the Jablanica and Pcinja Districts, Goran Jovic, pointed out that the Ministry of Economy needed to get involved in this job, but that the negotiations were a good sign and that more investors could be expected.
– Initially, 300 workers would be employed at the new factory and then another 300 in the next years. The local self-government offered to investors to be exempt from taxes and local fees in the municipality of Lebane in the first year – Jovic says.
As Jovic adds, they have been offered a location in Bosnjace next to the M9 route for the construction of the factory.
