Arriva Litas starts building new business facility in Pozarevac – Investment worth EUR 2 million
As said on the website of the City of Pozarevac, the new facility will provide employees with better working conditions and will also contribute to creating a healthier environment for the local community, thanks to waste water separators.
Mayor Bane Spasovic pointed out that he was satisfied that Arriva Litas continued to develop and find interest in continuing to do business in the city. He added that, thanks to the opening of the Stop Shop retail park and the Turkish company Ringelsan in Pozarevac, there would certainly be additional work the bus transporter, as it would lead to an increase in the number of tourists and workers.
Dejan Bogunovic, General Manager of Arriva Litas, said that the investment was worth EUR 2 million and that the most modern equipment, meeting the top environmental standards in ecology, would be installed at the facility. He added that the company had operated successfully in Pozarevac for a number of years.
– Arriva Litas has invested EUR 250,000 in the adaptation of the bus station in Pozarevac so far, thereby improving the conditions for our clients, and the next step is to build this modern facility with technical rooms, which will enable us to do everything in a single place and contribute to an enhancement of the quality of the transportation service for all our clients – Bogunovic announced.
As part of the project, the company will build traffic routes around 1 km long and 7 m wide, as well as sidewalks of 1.5 m in width.
